Rejection syndrome is something many ministers face—truthfully, everyone experiences rejection at some point. Unfortunately, it’s a part of life.
While rejection is inevitable to some degree, God does not want us to expect it or have faith for it.
Yet, some—especially those called as prophets—almost seem to look for rejection. And if you look for it and expect it, it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy, shaping your experiences and even attracting more rejection to you
Some even see rejection as proof of delivering a true prophetic word. While rejection can happen at times, there’s another factor often overlooked:
Sometimes, rejection results from poor delivery, a lack of relational maturity, or ignorance of leadership and correct protocol.
A prophet who is relationally disconnected, without apostolic alignment, without a pastor, and without a home church cannot function effectively.
Their words will lack maturity and balance and, often, be more destructive than helpful.
A Word for These Prophets:
Get healed, get rooted, find accountability, get equipped, ask for input, receive correction, and grow up.
